Business Development Director - Upstream / Offshore Oil Gas

Job DescriptionReporting to the VP North America, you will be responsible for: Determine upstream potential market segment for OGC through industry contacts, upstream knowledge & experience and participate in and prepare market share and sales goals each fiscal year. Successfully sell multiple upstream services to meet sales goals and maintain sales information systems and expense reporting systems via communications of weekly highlights, contact reports, expense reports, etc. in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure that the marketing and sales objectives are met and track the progress of market and sales goals. Create and maintain business relationships with key upstream customer contacts and management through regularly scheduled meetings, anticipating customer needs and ensuring operational excellence Identify and make recommendations to executive management as appropriate on new market opportunities.
Skill RequiredBachelor’s degree required preferably in engineering/science. MBA is preferred. 5 + years of senior level business development/sales experience in the oil and gas industry. Proven track record in the Upstream/Offshore market and demonstrated experience in building new business and/or extending services into new markets. Must be able to demonstrate experience in building strong client relationships. Self starter with excellent work ethic with excellent negotiation skills with strong ability to sell. Excellent written and verbal skills with ability to converse at the most senior levels with strong commercial and customer focus. Strong motivation to build and maintain high level customer relationships and work as part of a team. Demonstrate a collaborate approach to problem solving for win/win solutions with peer team members, management and customers.
